Precious Companion Pet Sitting Policies

Office Hours 8am to 8pm

Reservations

We request all clients to give a minimum of 2 weeks notice for all services. For New clients a minimum of 3 weeks notice is requested (this will allow us time to schedule a pre-visit). Making reservations less than 4 days will result in a late notice fee. Exceptions: pet or family emergency.

Precious Companion will not be held liable for free-roaming outdoor pets or pets left in backyards in the event of illness, injury, loss or death. It is highly advisable that all pets wear appropriate ID and that they remain inside your home or confined for their own safety and well-being in your absence.

Inclement Weather

Except for those clients away from home, mid-day walks will be cancelled if the schools and the government are closed. If only the schools are closed we will be still providing service for that day. If you decide your not going to work that day please call us by 8:00 am. to advise us that service is not required.

In the event of excessive snow and / or ice accumulation on sidewalks/walking paths, extreme hot and cold, thunderstorms with lightening, heavy rains, etc. outings may be shorter than usual in the interest of safety for your pet(s) and us.


Cancellation Policy

Mid-day clients-(Mon-Fri 10am - 4pm only)

We request a 24 hour notice to cancel a daily midday walk. Less then a 12 hour notice will result in paying for that visit. To cancel the service in its entirety or for an extended period of time, we require a two week notice prior to the stoppage of service. Once service has been entirely cancelled or suspended for an extended period of time, we require a two week notice to resume service.

Exceptions: Pet or Family Emergency.

Vacation clients-(Mon-Sun 7am - 10pm)

We request a 2 week notice prior to scheduled service start date. Less than a 4 day notice will result in a cancellation fee.

For All Clients

If cancellation is less than 4 days notice from date of intended service then client will incur a cancellation fee. If cancellation is less than 4 days notice from date of intended service and is over a holiday date then client will incur a cancellation fee and a holiday fee. If client changes visitation dates or the number or type of visit with less than 4 days notice of intended date then client will incur a late notice fee.

Payment

We accept cash, checks, and money orders.

Mid-day clients - Payments due every friday.

Vacation clients - Payments are due the day we begin service. If you forget to leave your payment, please mail it within 5 days following your return.

Returned Check Fee - Clients agree to pay a $25.00 fee for each check returned by the client's bank regardless of the reason.
